Rudland graduated in Biology and Forestry at UBC and went on to study medicine. He moved to the Sunshine Coast to begin 30 years in general practice. The show will feature many categories of locally designed clothing and accessories. From a 'slow clothes' approach--garments/accessories made from locally-sourced/hand-spun/hand-woven and hand-painted fabrics--to recycled or commercially-available materials; entries may be hand-knitted, crocheted, felted, sewn or otherwise crafted. Accessories: Hats, jewellery, handbags, shawls, etc. will also be featured. It is our wish to give designers on the Sunshine Coast, and the fabulous things that are made here, an opportunity to be showcased in the best possible light, and to give a good representation of what is available to those who seek locally designed and created clothing and accessories!
